Jessica and Sean had an gorgeous day at the Carnegie Museum of Natural history this past weekend. It was the first time I had ever photographed a wedding there, and I wouldn't mind doing it again. The Hall of Architecture is amazing.
A rainy forecast gave me a good excuse to try out a new Downtown location. I drove past Union Station a while back and I've been dying to shoot there ever since. Sure the rotunda provides shelter - but check out the stunning architecture! As it turned out, the weather wasn't as bad as expected so headed across the river to finish up the shoot in front of Heinz field. Thanks to Kevin, Heather and Dozer for a great day!
Little Joey came into the world just one week ago. He was a feisty little thing and even tried to kick his way out of the wooden box I laid him in. But after lunch he mellowed out and we were able to get these beautiful shots. Congratulations Joe and Aubrey!
I took a little trip out to Settler's Cabin to do these head shots for an aspiring model. This may have been her first shoot - but you can't tell from the pictures. She was relaxed and natural in front of the camera. The worn white siding gave us a beachy feel and made me wish for summer.
One of the greatest love stories I've heard of so far, but don't tell my wife that! Chelsey and David had a beautiful winter wedding this past February. That has to be tough for a groom who is used to the tropical weather of Trinidad.
My wife Emily and I took a day to our selves and awoke before the sunrise and went to Mt. Washington, which overlooks the city of Pittsburgh. We watched as the sun came up and made the city glow.
