Trinidad

It has been a while since I have posted, and I keep telling myself that I will make time for it. I never do. They're all lies. However I am excited to talk about my recent trip to Trinidad! It was an amazing time. Toco is a beautiful village in the northwest of Trinidad along the coast where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean. Full of lucious vegetation, bearing fruits like mango, papaya and avacado. Too bad it was not harvest season. No fresh fruit for me. But, alot of the local foods consisted of rice and curries. It is a good thing I like spicy food. I tried foods like puhlori (if that is how you spell it), shark and doubles.

I had a particularly special day when I woke before dawn and waked down to the local fishing pier. It had just stormed that night like it usually does every night. It was still misty and the clouds loomed over head making it feel earlier than it really was. I was hoping to get photographs of a sunrise and local fisherman setting out to the sea. Nobody was there due to the weather, and I was very disappointed. Just then the sky tore and colors flooded in. And just like that a rainbow came from the sea and raised to the ominous clouds above. Here are just a few of the photographs I took from that experience.
